Carillion statement

“Following the announcement yesterday about Carillion, the construction company working on the Midland Metropolitan Hospital, Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group is working with Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust to ensure that the new hospital is available for the benefit of local people as soon as possible. We recognise the importance of Midland Metropolitan Hospital in providing improved care for local patients and as an essential part of the Black Country Sustainability and Transformation Partnership. The building is two-thirds completed and it is vital that the hospital proceeds to completion with minimal delays.”

A little does a lot – alternative ways to live healthily in the New Year
