Make a pledge to take action on World Cancer Day

People in Sandwell and West Birmingham are being encouraged to make pledges to take action against cancer as part of a worldwide awareness event. NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is backing World Cancer Day on 4 February 2018 which aims to encourage everyone to take action to reduce the impact of cancer on individuals, families and communities.

It’s Time to Talk about mental health

A campaign to encourage people to speak openly about mental health issues is being supported by health leaders in the Black Country.

Time to Talk Day, which takes place on Thursday 1 February, is a day that brings the nation together to get talking and break the silence around mental health problems.
