The public consultation about the proposed changes to prescriptions and medicines in Sandwell and West Birmingham is coming to an end on Thursday 13th July.
Lots of local people have already had their say by attending one of the consultation events or by completing the consultation questionnaire, available online or as a paper version.
NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG), the organisation that buys health and care services locally, is very keen to hear the views of as many patients as possible and about the impact any changes might have on themselves and their families.
Dr Gwyn Harris, Clinical Lead for Medicines Quality said: “I would really encourage patients living in Sandwell and West Birmingham to have a look at the proposals and to let us know their views.”
“We are keen to ensure that the services the CCG buys are the most appropriate for our local population.”
No decisions have been made yet and all of the views collected during the consultation process will be considered before this happens.
