Patients and the public are invited to our next Governing Body Meeting which takes place on Wednesday 4 March from 1.45PM – 4.00PM at The Board Room, 2F Kingston House, West Bromwich B70 9LD.

The Governing Body meets in public bimonthly to discuss its progress as a CCG and provide an opportunity for local people to see how health services are developing and improving for the benefit of patients.

NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG covers a population of around 575,700. The CCG is a membership organisation involving 84 GP practices.

Dr Ian Sykes, Chair of NHS Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG, said:

“We look forward to welcoming patients and the public to our March meeting. These meetings are an ideal opportunity for local people to hear how we are working to improve health services in Sandwell and West Birmingham.

“It’s important that patients have a much greater say in their healthcare and there are a number of ways that they can do that. Our Engagement team actively encourages everyone to get involved in helping us to help patients by being a part of our “Get Involved” Membership scheme. Most of our GP practices also have a patient participation group which allows patients to work with the practice to ensure services are meeting the needs of local patients.”
