Thank you to everyone who came along to our inaugural Annual General Meeting on Thursday 11 September. We had a fantastic turnout with over 160 people present. It was a real opportunity to reflect on everything we have achieved in our first year. If you were not able to attend, take a look at our presentation and short films that were shown on the evening.
We are supporting Sandwell Safeguarding Board's campaign encouraging people to look out for vulnerable people and report instances of abuse.
This Bank Holiday weekend, your local NHS is encouraging members of the public to choose health services wisely to receive the quickest and most appropriate treatment over the Bank Holiday.
There are lots of services available to help with a variety of illnesses and injuries over the Bank Holiday, including pharmacies, out-of-hours services, NHS 111 and walk-in centres.
GPs are inviting local patients to join them for afternoon tea, as the HealthWorks Local Commissioning Group (LCG) hosts its first patient summit meeting this month.
Please come along to our first Annual General Meeting on 11 September, and help us celebrate our first year as a new organisation.
We will be showcasing some of the key projects that have been carried out by our patients, clinicians and staff. Come along and ask us questions and find out more about the work of your local NHS.
