GP Practices – PPGs (Patient Participation Groups)

Text size:

Most GP practice will run a patient (PPG) Group.  These patient groups are set up to enable practice patients to give their views on a variety of subjects from advising the practice on introducing a new telephone system, to giving their views on new services that could  be introduced into the practice.

Some PPGs are really established and run themselves with an elected Chair; they may sometimes hold fund raising days to purchase additional equipment for their practice or support a local charity

Contact your GP Reception or Practice Manager for more information about your practice PPG.
