At Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG, we want to ensure that the information we communicate is fair and accessible to all members of our community. We acknowledge that not everybody has the same ability to read, write and understand publications in the same format. Some of our current public facing information incorporates a standard line that gives people the opportunity to access information, and if required they can make a request for information in a different language or format, our accessibility information reads:

If you require information an alternative version such as easy to read, large print, braille, audiotape or help in understanding it in your community language, please contact our communications team about alternative formats, please call: 0121 611 0611 or email: This email address is being protected from spambots. See below a quote from Graham Price, a blind member of a Patient and Partnership Advisory Group, on how we have met his needs:

“What a terrific, empathetic service the public engagement team of the CCG gives in meeting my information access needs. As a blind patient, I feel welcome and valued when they transcribe photo slide presentations into word documents.  A sense of wellbeing is the outcome of this supportive action.”
