NHS 70 Vintage Tea Party - 5 July 2018

On Thursday 5 July 2018, the NHS was 70 years old and to celebrate its Birthday, a vintage style tea party was held at the CAP Centre, Windmill Lane, Smethwick.   

The Birthday party was attended by the Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Joy Edis and Deputy Mayor of Sandwell, Councillor Carol Goult together with GP Patient Participation Group (PPG) members and Patient Network members.  

The entertainment was provided by â€˜Diamond Drama' who are part of Sandwell Day Opportunities project. They specialise in performing arts activities to build confidence, gain skills and inspire their audiences with their performances. 

Sandwell College also put together a playlist for the to play at the tea party which was a great hit with people attending the party.

 Staff from the CCG, served the afternoon tea to guests and also dressed up as can be seen from the photographs.

NHS 70 Vintage Tea Party
