Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG coordinate the provision of the West Midlands Home Oxygen Service (WMHOS). This is in support of the work carried out by the West Midlands Home Oxygen Collaborative Commissioning Group and its membership of 22 CCGs.

We are looking for a reliable, preferably experienced, conscientious receptionist for a doctor’s surgery, required to start the position as soon as possible. Approximately 15 - 20 hours per week.

Practice Nurse/ Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Location;        Swanpool Medical Centre

St Marks Road, Tipton, West Midlands, DY4 0SZ

Hours;             Part-time/ Full-time 
Salary;             Dependent on experience and skills

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, well-motivated, experienced practice nurse to join our friendly practice team.

We have a list size of approximately 8800 patients.

Must have valid NMC PIN Number

Our surgery uses System1 Clinical System

Applicants should be competent in management of chronic diseases, and will be required to undertake cervical cytology, contraception advice, healthy lifestyle advise, child hood immunisations, travel health, ear syringing and infection control audits, assist in QoF management and general nursing duties.

An opportunity has arisen for a Medical Receptionist to join our team here at The Surgery.
The Role of the Receptionist:

    • Booking appointments
    • Answering calls from patients/hospitals etc
    • Liaising with doctors
    • General customer service
    • Various administrative duties
    • Filing

The Profile of the Receptionist:

    • Customer Service Experience
    • Outstanding telephone manner
    • IT literate
    • Good Communication skills
    • Excellent organizational Skills
    • Able to work to deadlines
    • Good team player/able to multi-task

Previous experience in a GP environment would be preferable but not essential as full training will be given. Uniform will also be provided.
